Clean Drinking Water Project

By self-help and contributions from residents of Chak No. 483EB a submersible pump is installed in the premises of Masjid where water is stored in clean water storage tanks. People come to this place and collect water for their use. The water is tested for all heavy metal. However water is not chlorinated yet. Community is planning to arrange chlorine pump to make sure that water is infection free as well. Thanks to Ch. Saif and Ch. Sarfraz (South Africa) for donating seed money for this project.

Two similar pumps are installed in Boys and Girls Elementary schools (one in each school) to provide clean drinking water to staff and students of these schools. Haji Ali Asghar Ghuman (Late) donated those.

Haji Sharif Zargar and Haji Shahid Altaf Ghuman have also installed 02 pumps at their residences and have provided water outlets in the streets of their respective houses.

Since availability of clean water to drink It is observed that incidence of diarrheal diseases in BHU 483/EB have reduced
