Grow your own fruit & Vegis

in 2024, idea given by Ch Jamil Ahmed Basra (Retired SE, C&W Punjab), farmers decided to plant at least 10 trees on their agreculture land water courses. A package of 10 trees (2 mangos, 2 oranges, 2 mulberrys, 2 guava and 2 jambul etc etc) donated by Ch Jamil Ahmed Basra were planted. The results were encouraging. Out of 4000 plants distributed, about 60% survived. This year another 1200 plants donated and farmers used their water course for plantation. Target is; no fruit should come from the market, nstead all need of fruit are arranged from local resource and the access is provided to local fuit and vegi market to earn extra money. The project will continue till the farmers have planted fruit bearing trees at all available water channels. Once this target is achieve then neighboring villages will be invited to see the results and work on similar lines...

Soon, farmers will be encouraged to allocate part of their agriculture land for vegitable to fullfil their own need and also supply to local fruit & vegi shops...
